If there was one thing I wish everyone knew about directing exercise and diet for health and wellness outcomes: it’s that it’s all far more accessible—far more adaptable and user-friendly of an endeavour than most people realise—including, with unfortunate recurrence, practitioners within the professional space.
Complexity, intensity, and pursuing emotionally resonant achievements in our training can be very fun and rewarding for some; but this is not the case for all of us, all of the time.
For this reason it’s important for us to understand that all outcome vectors legitimately related to health and wellness are overwhelmingly likely to be equally affected by any and all reasonably designed interventions, based on the best available research—our personal preferences and lifestyle compatibility not only can; but should inform how it is that we construct our exercise and lifestyles interventions.
With a background in Powerlifting and Strength Training I am both qualified and passionate about sharing the joy that we can find in pursuing our own idea of personal excellence and achievement in training; but my first priority and greatest purpose is found in helping normal people understand what they actually need to do and change in order to be well.
