Rated 3 out of 5 by Jayne23 from Rude staff I use this gym a lot, but got approached by a personal trainer on a Thursday evening who runs a class between 6-7 saying can I help you, I said oh sorry are you doing a class, and rudely said back yes I’m not just speaking to myself am I!? I don’t appreciate being spoken to like this, and I don’t agree they do classes in the gym at busy periods!

Rated 4 out of 5 by GlenB from Brillaint Gym though changing facilities not great Firstly the Gym itself is excellent and is never crowded even at peak times. The wide range of equipment is very good. The changing facilities as of late though have not been great and a few times it has really been unpleasant. If the changing facilities where maintained better then without a doubt it would be a 5 star.

Rated 2 out of 5 by EssexFella from Just lets itself down as a gym sometimes... Frustrating place to gym really when it has exactly what it needs to be spot on. As they say it's the small things that count but when the all build up in to a bigger picture I question what we're paying for sometimes. Firstly, the cleanliness in the changing rooms has really dropped of late. Staff are still signing the sheet saying they've been to see it, but sometimes that seems to be about all that happens. Grubby sinks, pools of water on the floor, grubby showers and a gents toilet that is regularly blocked or out of order. Add to that, members seem to use lockers for storage with lots more lockers full that people in the gym which I would imagine is a safety issue? There's also the equipment - lots of the weight numbers have fallen off the equipment so tracking your progress means you often need to use mental arithmetic and it generally looks like it just needs a good clean. I know members who are less considerate don't help this, which isn't the gyms fault, but come on guys...basic standards? Finally they're not very good at communicating. The local car park members use changed its parking system recently, yet not so much as a courtesy email from the gym manager to let people know this. Might have been nice to have been notified and with ASDA and Matalan offering free Customer parking, unclear why Pure isn't as well when it's supposed to be benefiting the health and well being of its members. Over all, great gym equipment wise. Just really sloppy with obvious things that make the difference when paying for a product / service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by fleur25078 from Great gym Great gym with loads of facilities and equipment. I only wish they reimbursed parking like some other local gyms that are just as cheap. Parking soon adds up when you go often- my only reason for leaving!

Rated 5 out of 5 by LittleAl from One of the Best Pure Gyms I tried quite a few Pure gyms and this is one of the best. Clean large changing rooms with good lockers. The gym is tidy and well maintained, even most of the members I've come across are very good when it comes to gym etiquette. If I had to be very picky, it would be nice to have a punch bag in one of the studios.
