... and I know all exercise isn't for everyone but I believe at ARTraining that if we work together I can change that opinion and find what you enjoy to do. Exercise is meant to be fun and enjoyable not a dread and a chore.
Here's a background insight to my journey into becoming a Personal Trainer. 2 years ago I got back form travelling and had gained weight. While away I had tried the many different diets to stay on top. these diets ranged from completely sugar free to just counting to 1200 calories. I went from being able to dance 10p/w and add extra body conditioning sessions to not being able to walk long distances without getting tired. The day after I got back from travelling I went to a gym.. I thought no time like the present. Well... I then experienced a whole heap of gym anxiety as it was group training and everyone around me was fitter and lifting heavier. We all start somewhere... this was my day one. I started to lose some of the weight I had gained but the biggest change was my mental health. The biggest shift in my training was when I stopped exercising for aesthetics only and decided to focus on creating a physically and mentally stronger me.

I never say a fitness journey is easy. Trust me I still have days where I fall back into older habit. It's the brushing it off and waking up the next day getting back to it. That makes you the stronger person..
