Hi! I’m Amy (Madfitmum). I’m a level 2 qualified Personal Trainer and mother to one little boy. I am currently studying for my Level 3 in Personal Training.
I have struggled with my weight for many years, throughout childhood and into adulthood. The most challenging time for me was becoming a mother. After pregnancy I gained the most weight I had in years and healthy eating went out the window. This was the turning point for me, and the moment I decided I wanted to make a change, for myself and for my son.
I decided to join the gym despite being nervous and not having any knowledge in what I was doing. I quickly fell in love with the atmosphere, the people and weightlifting in particular. My body changed, I gained confidence and decided I wanted to help other people like myself to achieve their goals.
I know from first-hand experience how difficult it can be to manage weight effectively. My goal is to show people, and particularly parents that fitness is possible. I am here to give you the tools you need to turn your goals into reality and make you feel amazing!
