Fitness for me isn’t just about physical changes to your body, but also mental changes. I believe it’s so important to look after your mental fitness just as much as your physical fitness, as most of the time it's your mind which motivates you to go further!

I am a strong advocate in using a healthy lifestyle and regular fitness participation to treat mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, as it is a tried, tested and natural way to make you feel more positive and energised. I have had my own personal battle with mental health in the past, so I know how difficult it can be to get started on the health and fitness journey, but I also know how helpful and rewarding it is once you get started! If you struggle with mental health issues and would like to start using fitness as a natural self-help tool, I am able to empathise on a personal level, but also help push you towards goals which I know will change your life for the better.

I am also very interested in food and nutrition and believe that what you put into your body makes such a huge difference to your mental health, mood and motivation. If I am training you, I will offer to monitor your food intake using a food diary, so that I can ensure you are getting all of the nutrition that your body needs to be physically and mentally healthy. I will also be on hand over text or call at any time to offer any advice and assistance needed.

I can also help with fat loss, toning, building strength, and just generally helping you to gain confidence in yourself physically and as a person. My sessions will be fun but challenging, and you’ll slowly become addicted to the fitness lifestyle!

My favourite type of workouts include high intensity interval training, outdoor running and long-distance mud runs!
