Hi everyone, I'm John, I've been PT'ing in PureGym Stirling since it opened in September 2016.
I'd firstly like to commend you for making the decision to come to the gym and improve yourself. It’s a big first step just working up the courage to walk through the doors. I know at first the gym seems like a scary place and an intimidating environment, there’s so much going on, but I hope over time, we can make this a comfortable environment for you to work out in.
My background is very much like yours, I started off coming to the gym and not having a clue what I was doing and really struggled to get results. I ultimately decided my goals were important to me, therefore I hired a Personal Trainer to coach me through the early stages. What I found working with a PT was that having someone qualified, passionate, knowledgeable and who was invested in my success, was by far the best decision I made in the gym. By taking my goals seriously, by investing in myself, I awakened a passion for training I did not ever think I would have. This led to what has become a fantastic career for me and now I am here ready to help you as I once was.
I am a firm believer in the saying “strength is never a weakness”. However being strong isn’t always about lifting the heaviest weights. I believe being strong ultimately will give us a better standard of living, especially later in life. I have helped many clients with various goals including weight loss, toning up, training for a sport they were involved in, training for an event like a charity run or Tough Mudder and helped with big life goals like preparing for taking on Mount Kilimanjaro. I have a wide range of knowledge to help you no matter what your goals are.
