Kerr Strachan

While working with PureGym since 2012, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience. From 2014 I transferred to Exchange Crescent and have since established myself as one of the Senior members of the team. This has enabled myself to develop into one of the Freelance Personal Trainers present at the club. As a level 3 Personal Trainer I am continuing to expand my knowledge through the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA) and Animal Flow bodyweight training courses in order to offer members a new approach to their training.

My background in fitness started in 2009 when I completed my Fitness, Health and Exercise HND at Stevenson College Edinburgh. In 2010 I then obtained a Degree in Sports Science (Sports Injuries) with distinction from Napier University. As a firm advocator in improving how the human body should move. I believe it is essential to get back to basics. Progression and adaptation are vital to any exercise programme and prevents everyone from reaching the infamous "Plateau".
