I have been involved in sports from a young age and it is a large part of my life.
My main interest is in helping people, I’m a level 3 sports and remedial massage therapist and try to undo to the best of my abilities the damage or strain from training, highly demanding sport or general life issues.
I have a background in athletics competing at a county level, martial arts having trained in karate from five, boxing and kickboxing from 16, and MMA (mixed martial arts) from 20. I currently coach children's and adults boxing.
I think that when we train it should be enjoyable but challenge us at the same time, so I try to bring an aspect of fun into training.
To reach the goals we are all after we need to realise that as much as we think we must train we must also allow our bodies to recover and feed it the correct food to ensure it keeps running adequately.
