The reason I got into fitness was due to my anxiety quite a few years ago, however keeping fit has been a lifesaver for me and thankfully I can now control it. I understand how something like anxiety can stop someone from living their life as they want to as I myself have been there many times. It used to stop me meeting my goals in life and achieving things I really wanted.
The real reason I became a Personal Trainer is because I wanted to help others meet their own fitness goals (big or small) and I get a real buzz from seeing people happier and feeling better in their own skin. I know too well what it’s like to walk into a gym not knowing what to work on to get the best results. There is so much information on the internet these days that it can become overwhelming and confusing and I only know this because I have been there.
I do not believe that one programme fits all as we all have different body types and I will ensure you have a custom programme that fits your needs and goals and matches your own lifestyle. I believe that exercise should be fun, however it should always be progressive as your body can adapt and without new stimulus there is no reason for your body to grow and develop which can mean no results. Who wants to work hard and get no results?
