I haven’t always been a Personal Trainer. Five years ago I stepped into PureGym Shiprow without a clue on how to use any of the machines or even how to squat. I had no confidence in myself and would hide in the corner doing my workouts scared everyone one was looking at me. I then saw a poster to sign up to Pure Lifestyle and thought 'why not, what have I got to lose?' Well...after that course I went from 15 stone to 8 stone over the course of 18 months and changed my life forever.
Over the years I have trained for bodybuilding and aesthetics and more recently found my love for strength and functional training and taking part in strong-woman competitions.
Everyone has different reasons for coming to the gym whether it be for weight loss, build muscle and tone, improve strength or even just build confidence or try something new.
