I remember my first time walking into a gym. I was overweight and had no confidence, so I wore long trousers and a big t-shirt to hide my belly. There were all these machines, and I had no idea what to use to help me achieve my goal.

After a couple of months of not using my membership to its full potential, since I didn’t want to look silly asking questions, I invested in a personal trainer who explained the machines to me. They explained that it was ok not to look like the other people in the gym and that everyone had their own journey to go on.

As I went on my fitness journey my physical health improved but also, I found I gained more confidence in myself and felt happier with life in general.

Now as a qualified Personal Trainer I want to inspire you to reach your potential, build your gym confidence up and pass on the tools that helped me overcome the obstacles that life throws in our way.

It is never too late to make that change. How can you look after others if you don’t look after yourself? It doesn’t even have to be hard work simple changes can make a massive difference.
