Paddy McGrath

Hi, my name is Paddy. Welcome to PureGym Bangor.

I have trained many clients ranging from athletic to someone looking for confidence in the gym, from highly motivated to highly social. I am very experienced in weight and shape management, athletic performance, and senior’s fitness, helping my clients define and achieve their fitness goals with regular assessments. I have had great success in training people who want to lose weight and train people to compete in triathlons, duathlons and marathons. Also, with the Emmett Technique I can use it to help a range of movement and posture. So, if you are struggling with how you feel and look, trying to lose weight. I will work with you and get you to the place where you feel better about yourself and how you look. My passion is to help clients reach their goals with preventing injury and reaping all the benefits strength training has to offer. I have worked with Ulster Rugby Youth Development, Currently S&C Coach to NI U18 football and with Down GAA, educating players on proper form and the importance of exercise adherence, bridging the gap between therapy and performance. I was once told that everyone is an athlete, it’s only our athletic goals that are different. This statement really resonates with me. From the high-level athlete to those with movement dysfunctions, I strive to help clients meet their goals by designing purposeful and individually inspired exercise programmes.
