Philip McWilliams

I'm originally from Northern Ireland and moved to Edinburgh in 2009 to complete my studies at Heriot Watt University. Alongside this, I was given the opportunity to train with the Scottish National Squash Team and have been involved in full-time sport since then, in both a playing and coaching capacity.

I've previously been responsible for the development of young, up and coming performance athletes which has involved skills-based coaching, nutritional advice and strength and conditioning training.

I'm excited to be taking my scientific knowledge of training and coaching into the fitness industry and applying relevant science and techniques which have helped improve elite performers, to the members of PureGym!

If it's good enough for the professionals then it's good enough for you! I can provide advice on a broad range of areas, some of which you may not have considered to be an important factor in your training.
