Philip Powell

Phil here, how can I help?

I started training when i was 16,and didn't really put any effort for most of the first year, I was a skinny lad that thought going once a week would be good enough for what I wanted to do.

How wrong I was.

After I'd grown up a bit and appreciated what needed to be done, I put the work in, and I found I loved it. I loved the result it had on how I felt and on what I could do. I've always been energetic but now I was experiencing whole new levels of enjoyment in physical activity.

Why am I telling you all this about my fitness journey when you may be looking for someone to help you with yours? Simple. I know the struggles of starting out on something new, there was a time when working out was a chore for me, now it's my time to better myself, my time to push myself and see just what I can do. I feel that everyone should have access to finding what sort of physical exercise they enjoy doing. We are not meant to be sitting at a desk all day, we're supposed to be up and active. My aim is to ensure that you remain as active as possible for as long as possible. That will only happen if you find something you enjoy doing. Goals of losing a certain amount of weight or lifting however many kgs, or running a certain distance are all brilliant goals. But I feel the best goal to have, the one we should all be working towards in our training, is to live the longest, most enjoyable life possible, for your own sake and the sake of those around you.

So with all that being said...
