A little bit about me …

If someone had told me 5 years ago that I would have become a personal trainer I would have laughed at them! Now here I am. At the age of 14 I was a size 22/24 and nearly 17 stone, one day I joined the gym and changed my life completely. I’ve managed to lose nearly 6 stone, dropped 7 dress sizes and completed a 12 hour gym session for charity. It’s not been easy, there’s been plenty of times I’ve wanted to throw the towel in, eating crisps on the sofa was a much easier option, but I always remembered why I started.

Being an obese child was difficult mentally and physically but I needed to find the right balance, now I teach people how to adapt to healthier lifestyles. Being on a fad diet is not the way to go, you have to make lifestyle changes otherwise losing weight isn’t sustainable and that’s why so many people have a constant battle with weight issues.  I still eat chocolate and go out with my friends, but so what? All in moderation is fine, it’s not living eating chicken and broccoli for every meal! I’ve been there, done it and now I have the baggy trousers to prove it, and anything is possible when you set your mind to it.

So what I can do for you …

The starting place comes from you and your willingness to change. I can motivate and help you till I’m blue in the face but I need your honesty and the desire to change. Over the course of our sessions I can help you overcome the daily barriers that stop you from exercising and living a positive lifestyle. From time management, nutrition, exercise and even financial help, I’ll go through it all with you so you have no excuse not to succeed! Educating you on fitness and the importance of being healthy is imperative to me as you can take control of your own transformations. It will be hard work, we will have a couple of tantrums and tears but you will reach your goals with me.
