Some of the information we collect is required for the purpose of creating your Member Account and for you to enrol in our Gyms. Such information allows you to be identified as a Member of PureGym and includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name, date of birth, gender, e-mail adder ss, postal address, telephone number, health declaration and whether you require disabled access.<\/li>\n<li>Professional information, such as job title and employer details.<\/li>\n<li>Your image when you visit one of our Gyms. See below regarding CCTV.<\/li>\n<li>Credit or debit card information, information about your bank account number and sort code or other banking information. Note that we do not store your bank or credit card details on our web servers.<\/li>\n<li>Your usage records and duration of visits.<\/li>\n<li>Your preferences for particular products or services or interests when you tell us what they are \u2013 or when we assume what they are, depending on how you use our products and Services.<\/li>\n<li>Your contact information with us, such as an email or other records of any contact you have with us.<\/li>\n<li>Your membership information \u2013 such as dates of payment owed and received, the Services you use and any other information related to your account.<\/li>\n<li>Your marketing preferences.<\/li>\n<li>When you visit our Site, we collect certain information, including your browser type, operating system, IP address, which pages and links you click on, the day and time of your visit.<\/li>\n<li>Social media user names, content and other information that you post to our social media pages or tag us on your social media pages, and information we obtain from third party social media services (e.g., Facebook) if you choose to link to, or create or log in to your PureGym online account through these third party services.<\/li>\n<li>When you use the Apps, we collect information from your mobile device such as the GPS, Wi-Fi, and\/or cellular technology in your device to determine your location and your distance from one of our Gyms.<\/li>\n<li>The Apps collect and process limited health and fitness data only as necessary to provide core fitness and activity-tracking functionality.Subject to user consent, this may include workout and activity information such as activity type, duration, distance, time, calories burned, step counts, and activity status obtained from system health platforms, including Google Health Connect on Android and Apple Health on iOS. You should review the privacy policy of any integrated service you choose to use before allowing it to share your personal information with PureGym.<\/li>\n<li>We may process more sensitive personal information, such as certain health information, only under very specific circumstances. For example, you have explicitly consented to us collecting this information, there has been an incident at one of our Gyms, or there is a serious public health threat. We will store your information for no more than 6 years from the last activity on the account. An \u2018activity\u2019 can be classified as access into a Gym, a payment made on the membership account or a comment added to the membership following contact with PureGym. We may contact you about PureGym Services during this 6-year period if you haven\u2019t opted out of receiving marketing communications from us. You can choose to opt out of all marketing or select your marketing preferences. Alternatively you can choose to opt-out in the footer of all e-mail marketing material received.<\/p>\n<p>If you are no longer a member, and wish to remove your consent to receive marketing you can access our preference center <a href=\"mailto:us.member.services@puregym.com\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Certain web browsers allow you to instruct your browser to send Do Not Track (\u201cDNT\u201d) signals to websites you visit, informing those sites that you do not want your online activities to be tracked. We process information from CCTV of Gym entrances, reception and fitness areas, training studios, as well as exterior areas (which may capture license plate information). No cameras infringe on sensitive areas of any Gym, such as inside changing rooms.<\/p>\n<p>This section sets out the appropriate actions and procedures which PureGym follows in respect of the use of CCTV in our Gyms.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PureGym reserves the right for its employees and contractors to review footage as required and by entering onto our Gyms you consent to your image being recorded and reviewed and waive any and all claims in relation to same. Recorded CCTV footage will be stored securely and retained in compliance with applicable laws.<\/li>\n<li>Our CCTV may be monitored by our internal CCTV team. We use the CCTV Systems and collect and process CCTV images for operational, security, and health purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Audio-recording is enabled at Help Points, only when it is enabled by an individual pressing the intercom button to request assistance from the CCTV team. This is the only circumstance in which audio recording occurs within our CCTV system.<\/li>\n<li>Prior to any camera installation PureGym will ensure that the installation complies with this policy and that the use of any camera is justified, necessary and proportionate. PureGym will regularly assess whether the use of any camera and the CCTV System as a whole continues to be justified, necessary and proportionate.<\/li>\n<li>The recordings are reviewed by random checks, specific suspicions, or other irregularities.<\/li>\n<li>All images are digitally recorded and stored securely within the system\u2019s hard drives. Images are stored for 30 days, unless longer storage is required by any applicable law.<\/li>\n<li>All access to and disclosure of recorded CCTV images is restricted and carefully controlled. Access to and disclosure of CCTV is permitted only if it supports the purpose for which such images have been collected. Disclosure of CCTV to third parties, e.g. a police enquiry or investigation, needs to be supported by a written Request for Disclosure or consent form from the registered person on the images.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1607532619365{margin-top: 20px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Keeping your personal information secure<\/h3>\n<p>We have a dedicated team whose function is to secure our clients\u2019 personal information and also take appropriate technical and physical measures to ensure that the information we collect and maintain is kept secure, accurate and up to date and kept only for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is used. We ensure the organizations that provide us with services related to your membership have appropriate security measures and only process your information in the way we have authorized them to. These organizations will not be entitled to use your personal information for their own purposes. Communications over the internet (such as emails) aren\u2019t secure unless they\u2019ve been encrypted. Your communications may go through a number of countries before being delivered \u2013 as this is the nature of the internet.
