about the artist<\/strong><\/h4>\n

FUNQEST is a Japanese-born, New York-based painter who has lived in Harlem for the past 10 years. He landed in the art world influenced by anime and manga, a part of Japanese culture. He has two different art techniques\u2013regular street art and a fusion of fine art and street art\u2013which he paints on campuses and large walls. FUNQEST has been self-taught for more than 15 years since he arrived in the U.S. He has developed a unique and original art style, using spray paint and brushes to create vibrant colors, fine lines, and his own message.<\/p>\n
