It includes both historical architectural references along with fitness iconography and imagined concepts of NoHo\u2019s future.<\/strong><\/p>\n

about the artist<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Jedidiah Dore is an artist and part-time faculty member of illustration at Parsons New School in NYC. He specializes in reportage art, mural painting, and drawing. Dore was commissioned to paint a large-scale NYC mural project at the landmark Daily News Building in Manhattan. There are 17 completed murals, with six of the murals measuring 30 feet in length. He recently created art for an exhibition with NASA\u2019s James Webb Space Telescope, documenting the Artemis 1 mission launch at Kennedy Space Center, and has recently exhibited a collection of paintings at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum.<\/p>\n

After moving to NYC to study painting and illustration at the Pratt Institute, and inspired by his love for science and space exploration, Dore began an ongoing project called the Stellar Science Series, with many of the initial ideas and concepts sketched on-site. The project has taken him on great adventures to places such as Mars Yard for the Curiosity Rover, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Deep Space Network, Johnson Space Center, Kennedy Space Center, and opportunities to create space art for Jacobs Technologies, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, and exhibit art for NASA at Goddard Space Flight Center. Jedidiah and his work have been featured in various publications including VoyageHouston\u2019s \u201cThought Provokers Series,\u201d British GQ, PBS, ALL Arts, Artnet, and in books such as \u201cPen and Ink,\u201d \u201cReportage Drawing: Visual Journalism\u201d (Bloomsbury, 2018), \u201cSTELLAR,\u201d and \u201cNYC5 Over, Under, Through.\u201d<\/p>\n
