My passion for fitness has been shaped by a lifetime spent in the outdoors. As an experienced climber, I understand how important strength, mobility, endurance, and resilience are to performance. Through structured training and targeted programming, I have seen firsthand how fitness translates into greater consistency and success. Whether you're looking to build functional strength, improve athletic performance, or follow activity-specific training plans, I can help you develop the skills and fitness needed to reach your goals. Having a background in adventure tourism, I am also an experienced mountaineer, skier, paddler, and cyclist, with extensive experience operating at altitude and on multi-day expeditions. This broad understanding of outdoor sports allows me to design training that prepares clients not only for the gym, but also for real world adventures and challenges. Before moving into the fitness industry, I worked as a teacher specialising in sport and outdoor education. Teaching remains at the heart of my coaching philosophy. I enjoy helping people learn, develop confidence, and achieve goals they may not have thought possible. As a qualified Mental Health First Aid Assessor, I recognise the powerful connection between physical activity and mental wellbeing. My approach focuses on the whole person, helping clients build not only physical strength and fitness, but also confidence, resilience, and long-term healthy habits.
