After being a traditional martial artist for about thirty years and going through periods of gaining and losing weight, I realised how intricate it was and how important nutrition was for sport performance and injury free training. It did take a couple of years to realise how I was feeling through all the phases of my weight fluctuating up and down and how my mental clarity would get affected.

Once I got a grip of this I took the next step into my training and realised how fun, motivating and important this was, so I decided to inspire more people and became a personal trainer.

I like to set realistic goals based on the abilities of each individual to avoid injury, always based on functional movements (movements that are not weird to anyone), fun and varied workouts and ongoing support to keep motivation up!. Sticking to a plan should never feel boring, if you don't enjoy it you just will not do it.

Training can be a bit intimidating at first, daunting at times and slow. Keeping things entertaining and fun is a must to attach to your programme and achieve your goals.
