Iain Donaldson
Through more than 15 years of training and coaching, I have come to understand that transformation is never purely physical. It is built through curiosity, resilience, discipline and the willingness to explore what a person is truly capable of. My work has always been driven by helping others discover that potential and I remain endlessly inspired by both the process of teaching and the process of learning itself.
Before entering the fitness industry, I served for 12 years as a British military sniper, where I instructed international agencies in the principles of patience, precision, resilience and elite standards. That environment shaped the way I think and work. It taught me attention to detail, adaptability under pressure and the importance of building relationships that go beyond transactions.
Those qualities carried naturally into coaching, where I found myself drawn not only to physical development, but to helping people change mentally and emotionally through training.
Over the years I have owned and operated my own gym, coached athletes in CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting, prepared individuals for military selection and deployment and worked alongside people pursuing elite level sports.
After a lifetime spent around physical effort, I realised that my true craft is not simply training people harder. It is teaching people to understand themselves better through training.
Natural Rebel is created as a response to what modern fitness has become. An industry increasingly built around appearance, validation and performance for attention, rather than capability, meaning and personal exploration. Natural Rebel exists to return training to something more honest. A process of confronting discomfort, building resilience and developing physical attributes that genuinely enhance life.
We are not seeking perfection or trends.
We are about creating capable human beings through effort, curiosity and the refusal to become soft.
