Hello, I am Luke Delaney, welcome to Pure Gym.
From a young age, sport has always played a major role in my life. I have been involved in both football and Gaelic for many years, and through these sports I developed discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Training and competing regularly taught me the importance of consistency, commitment, and pushing myself to improve both physically and mentally.
At the age of 14, I started going to the gym due to a lack of confidence in my body and overall self-image as I had a very low muscle mass. What began to improve my appearance quickly became something much more important to me. The gym gave me structure, confidence, and a positive mindset. Over time, I realised that fitness was not only about physical change, but also about building mental resilience and self-belief.
Balancing football, Gaelic, and gym training has helped shape the person I am today. It has taught me how to stay motivated, set goals, and overcome challenges. My own experiences with confidence and personal growth are a big reason why I am passionate about helping others improve themselves through fitness. I understand how powerful training can be, both physically and mentally, and I hope to inspire others to become healthier, stronger, and more confident in themselves.
