How to find us
We're based in the heart of the city at 48 London Wall, below an office building called 25 Copthall Avenue. There's a coffee shop to the left of the gym entrance, and a Mexican restaurant, Chipotle, to the right. There are bike racks nearby, and we're a three-minute walk away from Moorgate station where you can catch the tube (Northern, Hammersmith and City, Metropolitan and Circle lines) or bus (bus numbers 100 and 388 from stop A or N). With Liverpool Street station just a ten-minute walk away too, it couldn't be easier to come in and workout.

You get what you pay for! What can I say. You get what you pay for! Terrible customer service, and below average trainers. Much prefer paying more but getting better care and quality. I know we live in a cheap, fast recycling people and consumption era. Where we want results but don’t want to pay for it. . But I truly think that sometimes paying more for better quality, more relatability and attention is worth while. Lesson learned. I think puregym needs a few lessons of customer care from Americans. Yes there are things we can learn from America, believe it or not. Very disappointed.

Poor customer serviceWhile I understand the showers need to be updated, so have to use another gym, the communication around this has been awful. Some signs when the showers will be closed and hinting at best to use other Pure Gyms. Turns out Pure Gym St Pauls doesn't provide towels, shampoo and their shower facilities are tiny and an utter zoo at lunchtime. Plus the showers last maybe 10 seconds at most and range from boiling to freezing. Asked to speak to the manager and was told both were at lunch, no idea when back and no one else was available to talk to! So a pretty awful experience overall and I'm now thinking hard about ending my Pure Gym membership

Poor customer serviceI tried to cancel my gym membership within the 14 day period.
Not only were the managers slow in responding back to me but they refused to refund me even though it clearly states on their website that you are entitled to a refund within 14 days of taking out the contract.
Very poor customer service.

Good value for money - some basics missing thoughFor central London you can't complain - much. It has everything you just about need. However the ladies changing rooms could do with better quality (and ones that work on higher setting) hairdryers, more general & towel bins and a LOT more mirrors. I understand peak times can get very busy but this place is carnage at 8am and you can tell women struggle to find any space to even put their clothes on let alone put on their face.
Also, better ventilation is required - the gym floor stinks of sweat and its actually gross.
Other than that, its got what you need - obviously with a PureGym you pay for what you get but there comes a point where you question this especially being one of the more expensive PG's around.

Horrible personal trainers spoil the experienceGood gym, but they need to have a word with the personal trainers. They think they own the place, use three pieces of equipment at once. One guy - skinny with a top knot and beard - is CRAZY rude to everyone, and when complaints are made he just gets worse. Sort it out management

great valuehighly functional gym, all the equipment i need with no frills and open all the time, at a good price. The showers can get a bit tatty, missing soap trays etc and you have to press the shower button every 20 seconds it seems for water. It would be great if there was more than one water fountain in the whole facility. But i overlook my minor gripes given the overall value.
