Julia Oosthuizen
Personal Trainer, Running & Athletics Coach, and Hyrox Coach.
I didn’t get into fitness until my mid-30s, and it wasn’t until I ran my first marathon at 41 that I really found my stride (literally). Running and strength training completely changed how capable I felt, and that still shapes the way I coach now.
My focus is on helping people build strong, resilient bodies that perform well now and keep performing for years to come. Whether that means running faster, getting stronger, taking on a Hyrox, or simply being able to move well and feel capable as you get older, I believe training should be about more than how you look.
I work with a varied client base, from all age groups, backgrounds and experience levels, and all with different reasons for training. We train for performance, but also for longevity: strong muscles, healthy joints, good movement and a body that’s ready for whatever you ask of it.
I also have a background in psychology and a real interest in the link between exercise and mental wellbeing. I know gyms and training can feel intimidating, so my coaching is supportive, straightforward and always tailored to the person in front of me.
Whatever your starting point, I’ll help you to build confidence, as well as become stronger, fitter and more capable. Not just for your next event, but for future you!
