My name is John Cannon, and I am qualified to work with you at whatever level of experience you are entering the gym with. From first time gym-goers, to high level athletes, I am here to help you achieve your goals.
Beyond my personal training qualifications, I hold a BSc Sport and Exercise Science degree from the University of Leeds, and I have an interest in standard bodybuilding style workouts, where the main goal is hypertrophy and building as much muscle as possible. Beyond this, I have a huge passion for strength and conditioning, elevating athletes' athletic performance to the next level in their sport.
I believe training is not only important for your physical health and wellbeing, but also your mental health. Nutrition and exercise moulds the way we feel on a day to day basis, and client's I have worked with in the past have frequently been shocked with how quickly they notice mental and physical changes after undertaking coaching. It's never too late to start! My goal is to get you to a point where training is one of the highlights of your week, and never feels like a chore, if that's the point you want to get to, reach out!
