About me

Hey folks my name is John and I've been a Strength Coach and Personal Trainer for 10 years and was one of the original PureGym Stirling PT’s. I attained my qualifications from Sebastian Oreb, widely regarded as one of the best coaches in the world, and my aim as a coach is to show that a foundation of strength training can help you attain whatever goal you have, getting strong, weight loss, injury rehab, toning up or competing at an amateur or professional sport. No matter what level you are at from absolute beginner to professional athlete, I can help you get results, and build you into a physically and mentally stronger version of yourself.

What I think sets me apart from other coaches and PTs is I believe whole heartedly that coaching you and being a part of your journey is a privilege. I pride myself on the fact that I deliver top quality coaching that is based upon first and foremost you the client and getting you results. I always go that extra mile to help my clients and deliver you success.

Allow me to begin by saying that being strong is not just about lifting max weight in the gym. Strength comes in many forms. Physical, mental, character. Being physically strong can have many forms, from competing in a strength sport to being strong enough to physically help out a sick family member. Mental strength is about having the belief in yourself when nobody else does, by taking life's challenges, however unfair they seem, and not only surviving, but thriving on those pressures. Character strength is having the discipline to do what others can't or sacrificing what others won't in order to be a better version of yourself.
