I have been working as a Personal Trainer at PureGym since 2018, supporting clients of all abilities in achieving their health and performance goals. My career spans the Health, Fitness and Care sectors with extensive experience working in nursing and care homes as well as mental health hospitals before moving into personal training. This background has allowed me to develop a well-rounded, empathetic and results-driven approach to coaching that supports both the physical and mental wellbeing of my clients.
My mission as a Personal Trainer is to guide you through a structured and sustainable fitness journey. I take a holistic approach, supporting not only your training but also key lifestyle factors including nutrition, work-life balance and both physical and mental wellbeing. Together, we will build strong foundations and create habits that deliver long-term results.
Sport has always played a significant role in my life, having played football for my county in the past. Having achieved my Level 4 Award in Strength and Conditioning, I specialise in developing performance-based skills such as speed, agility, plyometrics and change of direction. These qualities are essential for enhancing athletic performance and improving key moments in competition. Over the years, I have worked with many different athletes with different sporting backgrounds, including netball, football, rugby, tennis and badminton.
Recently, I have completed specialist training in exercise programming for people living with Parkinson's: Fitpro Parkinson's Course endorsed by Cimspa. This course has given me deeper knowledge, practical tools and evidence-based strategies to help improve mobility, strength, balance and confidence safely and effectively.
