Exciting news! We are building you a brand new gym at Unit 3, Nova Scotia Retail Park BB2 3GE!
This gym will close on 1st September at 12pm, and your brand new gym will open on 2nd September at 12pm. To ensure this transition is as smooth as possible for you, we'll be moving your membership to our new gym, so there isn't anything you need to do. We will also open access, so you can use any PureGym between 1st and 2nd September while you wait for your new gym to open.
Your new gym will have...
An enhanced women's workout space with a dedicated stretch area, lifting zone with squat racks and a free weights area with adjustable benches, dumbbells up to 30kg and a Smith machine. Plus, we have a mix of upper and lower body focused fixed pin equipment along with plenty of glute focused machines.

Ready to achieve your health and fitness goals? We have everything you need to get started at PureGym Blackburn, from free weights to a cardio area, and tons of classes running throughout the day which are included in your membership. The gym is open 24/7 and memberships are contract-free, so you can come and go as you want.
We are located in The Mall Blackburn next to Costa and offer free parking* to members in The Mall carpark.
PureGym Blackburn The Mall also has a dedicated women's workout space which offers female members total privacy in a fun, friendly space. With a selection of cardio machines, free weights, and fixed resistance machines, this area has everything you need to complete your workout.
We want to keep PureGym a safe environment for everyone to work out. If you plan to train at night or during un-staffed hours (check your gym’s hours here), please read our unstaffed hours document here to ensure your safety when at the gym.

Directions
We’re based on the external side of The Mall shopping centre directly opposite the bus station. We are next door to Costa and can be accessed from Ainsworth Street by foot and from the shopping centre either via the escalator next to B&M or from the elevator in the main car park.
BY CAR
If you're driving to the gym, use postcode BB2 2DQ to get to The Mall Shopping Centre car park. Parking is free for up to 2 hours for PureGym members, simply take the car park token to the gym to validate it. When leaving, tokens are placed in the machine as you would if paying in cash and it will drop another token to exit. *Parking restrictions may apply. Please check in the car park before you enter the gym. PureGym is not responsible for any parking fines.
BY BUS
There is a bus station next to The Mall entrance on Ainsworth Street.
BY TRAIN
The Blackburn train station is just a few minute's walk away.
LADIES ONLY AREA AND CLASSES
We have a dedicated women’s only gym area which is equipped with cardio machines, fixed resistance machine, free weights, and functional kit, so you can get a work out in while feeling comfortable. We also have several ladies only fitness classes throughout the week, so you can get fit with likeminded people.
