I've been going to gyms for decades and been a qualified gym instructor for over a decade, learning from initial over-training, inappropriate use of gym equipment, lack of progress in CV fitness, strength training and weight loss, which though sheer determination turned into regularly running 10k races, shedding several stones in weight and building muscle. All learned through experience and hard work, as I honestly thought a miserably unfit curmudgeon as me would never reach such goals, yet I did.
