Get fit, healthy, and strong at our 24-hour gym in Barnstaple. Whether you prefer to sweat it out with cardio, or strengthen up with weights, we have everything you need to achieve your goals including a rig with 4 adjustable barbell racks, 2 Olympic weightlifting platforms, and a fully functional area. Plus, we have over 40+ classes each week including in your contract-free membership!

PureGym Barnstaple is on the riverside development, Anchorwood Retail Park, which is accessed by the A3125, via the A361. You'll see us opposite Next, DFS and The Food Warehouse. Free on-site parking* is available for members.

Working out in groups can be a great way to keep your motivation high, so we have more than 50 free fitness classes available every week. If you enjoy a high-intensity workout, try fat burn, circuits and boot camp. We've got so much more so check out our timetable and book a class once you become a member.

You'll find us on the Anchorwood Retail Park, opposite Next, DFS and The Food Warehouse.

BY CAR

Our postcode is EX31 2AA. From the large roundabout, head towards the river and take the slip road off to the left. At the mini roundabout, take the 2nd exit into Anchorwood Retail Park. You can park for free in the on-site car park. *Parking restrictions may apply. Please check in the car park before you enter the gym. PureGym is not responsible for any parking fines.

BY BUS

Nine buses stop at the nearby Sticklepath bus stop. Simply cross the road from the bus stop, head towards the bridge and take the first left down the path towards the retail park.

BY TRAIN

Barnstaple station is an eight-minute walk away. From the station head north on Station road and cross the A3125 close to the bridge and head down into the back of the retail park.

BY BIKE

There are loads of bike racks on the retail park between the two main units of shops.
