Do I have to be fit to do a Hybrid class?

Our Hybrid classes have been designed to be suitable for all levels, whether you are training to compete or just want to try something new.

Can Hybrid classes help me to prepare for a fitness event?

Yes – our Hybrid classes are a great way to prepare for a fitness event. These classes are specifically designed to help improve technique, strength, and endurance across the different exercises in a typical fitness competition.

What exercises are in a Hybrid class?

Our Hybrid classes are based around the exercises typically found in fitness competitions:

  • Ski erg
  • Sled push
  • Sled pull
  • Burpees
  • Rowing
  • Farmers carry
  • Sandbag lunges
  • Wall balls
Can Hybrid build muscle?

Hybrid classes include a range of weight training and resistance exercises which are great for building muscle and strength, while also improving conditioning.

Can you do Hybrid without training?

Yes - all our Hybrid classes are suitable for individuals without any training experience, as our coaches can help to tailor the classes for any ability.

What should you wear to a Hybrid class?

Our Hybrid classes involve a mix of functional fitness exercises and strength training. As a guide, we recommend the following to ensure you're comfortable and can perform at your best:

  • Moisture wicking top and socks: breathable, moisture wicking clothes will help to keep you dry by drawing sweat away from your body
  • Supportive sports bra: some Hybrid exercises are high impact and wearing a sports bra that provides adequate support will help to prevent discomfort
  • Comfortable shorts or leggings: choose shorts or leggings that are made from breathable fabric and allow a full range of motion while staying securely in place
  • Running shoes: A good pair of running shoes provides support and cushioning to protect against impact and provide stability while doing the exercises

You may also want to wear workout gloves to help with grip and a headband to keep sweat out of your eyes.
