Josh Lockley
Hello, my name is Josh!
Movement has always been a big part of what I do. Alongside personal training, I’m a GB-qualified skateboard instructor, and I want to bring that same approach to coaching in the gym.
Skateboarding teaches you pretty quickly that progress doesn’t happen overnight. You try things, make mistakes, figure out what works and keep practising. Building strength and fitness is no different.
That’s the approach I want to bring to personal training. Whether you’re stepping into a gym for the first time or looking to improve what you’re already doing, there’s always something to learn and room to progress.
I’m not about making training more complicated than it needs to be. It’s about understanding your goals, finding what works for you and helping you build confidence as you go.
My background in skateboarding has given me another way to look at movement, learning and coaching. I want to bring that into my PT sessions by helping people develop their skills, challenge themselves and enjoy the process of getting better.
