My name is Kirstie, and I’m a former Primary School Teacher who loves to travel; go out for coffee and cake; talk nonsense and be a geek in the same sentence; pick up heavy things in the gym; spend money on running shoes and race entries for the finishing-line-banana and crumpled-up race number you get to keep as a souvenir. I also love my job as a Personal Trainer. For me, PT has always been about more than unwelcome 6am wake-up calls to follow a plan in the gym that, really, you could have found online, with a list of your favourite foods on the ‘no-longer-allowed’ list. It's about having someone who can meet you where you are; hold you accountable; and support you to build a sustainable lifestyle, with you and your physical and mental health at the centre. I want to be your cheerleader from the sidelines while you learn how to show up for yourself, in the gym and out, and celebrate with you when the strength, resilience and discipline you build in your training shows up in your day-to-day life. I am interested in getting to know you, and working with you to create the change in your life you’re looking for. I work with people of all ages; with all body types; of all experience levels; and with one thing in common: they want to feel capable, confident, and that little-bit unstoppable.
Nervous? Intimidated? Excited? Stuck? Empowered? Curious? Overthinking it? Good. It means you care, and you’re ready. Get in touch with me, and let’s go!
