The upgrade includes:
Upgraded free weights with a 6 bay lifting rig, olympic incline & decline bench, varsity perfect squat and a plate loaded lat pull down.
Brand new stretch area with all new kit.
Brand new functional area with a sled track.
Dual studio with spin bikes and classes.
New fixed pin including an additional cable crossover, diverging lat pull down, seated leg curl and the BootyBuilder V8.
New look and feel throughout the club.
Please note the gym will remain open, so you can still come in and work out anytime. Please see notice board in club for start on site date. Please note whilst our teams work on your gym areas may be closed off, and there will be local notices in place to ensure your safety. We kindly ask that you don't attempt to access these areas during this period.

PureGym Birmingham Maypole contains a fantastic range of state of the art equipment set out over 2 floors, free gym classes and a friendly and helpful fitness team.
Located at Sainsbury's Maypole, you can come in and work out at a time that suits you as we're open 24/7. Plus, all of our memberships are contract-free, so you're free to stop at any time. We look forward to helping you get fit and feel great at PureGym Birmingham Maypole. We also offer free parking—simply enter your vehicle registration on the tablet inside the gym upon arrival to receive 2 hours of free parking.

PureGym Birmingham Maypole is located above Sainsbury's Maypole on Alchester Road South.
BY CAR
If you're coming by car, the postcode is B14 5TN. Members get 2 hours free parking. In order to claim this, you must validate your parking when you arrive using the machine inside the gym. This can be found next to the lockers on the gym floor.
BY BUS
If you’re coming by bus, there is a bus stop in the Sainsbury’s car park and one directly opposite the club off Alcester Road.

BY TRAIN
If you’re coming by train, we're 2 miles from both Shirley and Wythall train stations.
