About me

My name is Ben Tompkins, founder of Lionheart Fitness, and my mission is simple: help people build strength, confidence and long-term healthy habits. My passion for training comes from years of personal fitness and the discipline developed through my time in the armed forces, where I built over five years of structured training experience. That background taught me the value of consistency, resilience, discipline and purposeful training. Through my own journey, I realised that many people feel intimidated, overwhelmed or unsure where to start in the gym. Lionheart Fitness was created to change that. My coaching focuses on making fitness simple, structured, sustainable and enjoyable. I help clients build strong foundations first, develop habits that actually stick and follow training that has real purpose, not just random workouts. My coaching style is motivating but realistic, disciplined yet supportive and I aim to create an environment where clients feel encouraged, challenged and confident as they progress.
