Exeter Bishops Court gym reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good gym more mirrors please It’s a really good gym, very well equipped and clean but it could do with more mirrors in front of squat racks and workout areas to focus on technique.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really great value for money The gym is spacious and plenty of equipment to use. The actual gym is kept clean and maintained, the only down point is the showers are always dirty and off putting. Apparently they are deep cleaned every evening, but at 0700 each morning I would question it. Staff are really friendly and adhere to the COVID rules each time I am in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very busy! It was absolutely packed! It was the first Monday back after the new year, but when I arrived at 7am there wasn’t a single running machine or cross-trainer free!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great facilities and excellent staff This is one of the best gyms in Exeter and the staff are great as well. Lots of equipment and plenty of social distancing and covid measures. The only thing that does let it down is the cleanliness of the actual place and showers. The equipment is all clean but the floors and showers are less than perfect. They need new cleaners for the overnight clean as quite frankly it's very poor.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from usually great but ok this time I have been going there for nearly a year but I was treated by a staff member as if i had a mental deficiency as he felt it was necessary to guide me on how to use the key pad to leave. I wasn't even anoyed I just don't want these surveys anymore

Rated 4 out of 5 by from busy and some customers not socially distancing Pure gym doing all the right things and most customers are very good cleaning equipment and socially distancing. There were some group of young people on resistance equipment who encroached on other people being within there equipment space. However I didn't feel unsafe just a little uncomfortable at times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, floor could be cleaner though Slight dirty on floor, but visit was 5pm so had lots of people in before me

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nobody wears masks Mask wearing not enforced by staff Nobody wears them - between stations, up and down the stairs or in the changing rooms Barely anyone wipes the machines Not the way the gyms are going to remain open sadly
