About me

As someone who has played football and rugby since the age of 7, fitness has always been a fundamental part of my life. Training throughout my life has always involved cardio/fitness-based training, strength and hypertrophy and plyometric work; this gave me a brilliant foundation to build multi-faceted training routines for a well-rounded level of fitness. Despite this, I was always a bigger kid. I was always lacking in confidence as a result, and no amount of sport could change this when I was young. But being able to get into the gym and really learn strength training allowed me to find the balance I needed; my mental health improved drastically and I turned into a more confident, outgoing person instead of hiding in the shell that I used to. My sports performance improved, I was stronger, and I could endure way more. It ultimately made life 10x better.

Nowadays, things look a little different. After sustaining a serious injury that left me with chronic ankle issues, I have had to adapt my approach; since I am no longer able to even run, let alone do the sports I love most, my mental health did take a little hit and as a result my focus shifted to strength and hypertrophy training after rehabbing the injury myself. So, my greatest advocacy is to just get the work done! No matter what, exercise always helps the way you feel. And if you’re not sure where to start, I can show you the path to being the best version of yourself!
