Rated 3 out of 5 by from People aren’t following the rules. It’s a great gym overall and I’m sure I would be giving it 5 stars in normal times, but these aren’t normal times. Staff are working hard in challenging circumstances but I would say around 80% of customers don’t wear masks when moving around the gym. Also, despite the signs there are always a number of couples working out on the same price of kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A superb facility offering great value for money. I was very impressed with the amount of space and equipment that the gym provides. The member of staff appeared very friendly, engaged with members and was very professional in wearing a mask at all times. I am very pleased at the value for money that my membership provides. The only point I have in regards to the joining process is that there was no PAR-Q or COVID question set that is surprising considering that we are in a global pandemic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean and spacious! I love the gym, it’s very clean and spacious. I was nervous about joining a gym during this Covid time but subsequent to visiting the gym I gained confidence and instantly joined. The kit, app and the staff are amazing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent gym with a few sticking points The gym generally has decent equipment and feels like just enough space, however seems to be missing some machines that other Pure sites have, e.g. Prone Leg Curl. Also found that the newer style machines can't accommodate shorter people like me (5ft2) compared to older machines I've used at Pure sites - e.g. Leg Curl, Tricep extension, bicep curls. Appreciate I could do exercises with weights (as advised by a member of staff) but having previously been a member of Reading Caversham Rd which had all the equipment and could be adjusted feels a bit of a poor exchange. As a result probably looking to move back to that gym despite it being less convenient. Additionally noticed that there seem to be a number of people wandering around in the gym between machines and areas without face masks and no attempt made to enforce.
