Hi, I’m James. I’m a Level 3 Personal Trainer at PureGym, with qualifications in Fitness and Nutrition, and I also hold a black tag in kickboxing.
I’ve been passionate about training and staying fit since I was 16, but I also know how difficult consistency can be when life gets busy. I’m nearly 40 and I’ve got two young children — so I understand the juggle of family life, work, energy levels, and still trying to prioritise your health.
A couple of years ago, I was 88kg and not happy with my body composition. Since then, I’ve completely turned things around and I’m now 77kg, with a much healthier balance of muscle and body fat — and I use that experience to help my clients do the same in a realistic, sustainable way.
My coaching is all about keeping things simple, achievable, and built around your lifestyle. Whether your goal is fat loss, building strength, improving fitness, or simply feeling more confident in the gym, we’ll create a plan you can actually stick to. Expect supportive coaching, clear structure, and training that challenges you while still being enjoyable — including kickboxing-style sessions if you like high-energy workouts.
