About me

Hello, my name is Mike. I'm one of the Personal Trainers here at Pure Gym Warrington Central. I have been training on and off for over 15 years, I took 2 years off and I found myself neglecting my own health and prioritising work. The reality check came when I stepped on the scales. I knew I had to make a change. Through rebuilding my routine, focusing on strength training, and making better food choices, I reduced my body fat, built muscle, and the gym became my happy place.

This journey showed me just how powerful fitness can be, not only for the body but for the mind. That's why I became a Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer - to help others use the gym as a tool for both physical and mental fitness.

My approach focuses on hypertrophy and fat loss, but more importantly, on building strength as the foundation for everything. I truly believe that the gym and the food that you eat don't need to be boring or restrictive - it is about creating a lifestyle you can enjoy and sustain.
