The upgrade includes:
A brand new women's workout space with a lifting zone with squat racks and a free weights area with adjustable benches, dumbbells (up to 30kg) and a Smith machine. Plus, we have a mix of upper and lower body focused fixed pin equipment along with plenty of glute focused machines!
Brand new Shape area, our beginner-friendly strength zone, featuring lighter barbells, dumbbells, glute-focused machines, and benches — ideal for building strength with confidence.
Upgraded functional area with a new track.
Upgraded free weights area with a brand new 8-bay lifting rig.
Upgraded studio.
Fresh look at feel to the whole club.
Please note the gym will remain open, so you can still come in and work out anytime. Please see notice board in club for start on site date. Please note whilst our teams work on your gym areas may be closed off, and there will be local notices in place to ensure your safety. We kindly ask that you don't attempt to access these areas during this period.

We're conveniently located a 5-minute walk away from Union Square Shopping Centre. Our Aberdeen Shiprow gym is open 24 hours so you can workout whenever you like. Plus, there’s no contract, meaning you're free to leave whenever you like.
We want to keep PureGym a safe environment for everyone to work out. If you plan to train at night or during un-staffed hours (check your gym’s hours here), please read our unstaffed hours document here to ensure your safety when at the gym.

Pure Gym Aberdeen is located in the city centre on Shiprow, next door to the Ibis Hotel and down the hill from the Vue.
BY CAR
If you're coming by car, pop AB11 5BW into your SatNav and when you get here you can find parking at the Shiprow NCP car park. NCP app . There is a discount code that is available through the NCP app that gives a reduced rate for members for up to three hours, please ask for the code in the gym.
BY BUS
Alternatively, the nearest bus stop is on Union Street where bus numbers 1, 2, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 23, 40, 60, 61, 62, 63, 67, 68, 90, 290 and 291 will drop you off.
BY FOOT
Aberdeen train station is a five minute walk away. As you leave the station, head towards the Harbour then turn left up Market Street and right along Shiprow. And if you fancy a warm-up before you workout, you can lock your bike up at the NCP.
