Brighton Central gym reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty top notch Would’ve been 5 stars but entrance door is slow and upon leaving a bit ignorant, the place is clean I enjoy the blue tissue and disinfectant being there to use to clean the machines. Sometimes the music is too loud bearing in mind 90% of the people bring there own headphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always clean and welcoming I hadn’t been for a while for various travel and heath reasons. Felt a bit worried but it was very clean and welcoming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gym was clean and with sanitiser everywhere We all know how much the corona virus is spreading quickly around the world and I appreciate the effort to have a more efficient cleaning schedule. My only suggestion would be for some bottles of alcohol gel to be available as well around the gym.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lockers need fixing still! I left feedback before about this - many of the locks on the lockers are a complete nightmare - the locks go around and around or just get stuck either when trying to open or close - people all the time having to find a good one - please sort this out !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from friendly gym Just came back to the gym after a break and instantly feel at home again. Looking forward to starting the ladies weight lifting programme! x

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not bad I like the gym but it is always very hot in there and not many areas to do free weights.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, happy to see the Corona Virus updates I used the main room that classes go on in to do my own work out videos. I used to come to the classes but some only last 25 mins and the Les Mills one I went to I didn't enjoy particularly. I didn't find it was tailored enough for people of different levels. I particularly like the gym for the cost, the fact it has a power plate and I always find a space to do my workout. I also use the weights and as I go about 8.30 and most people are finishing up by then there are always enough barbells. Although yesterday I was looking for 4kg dumbells and there were none to be found. Please to see the signs re Corona but would be good if there were wipes available.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall okay I understand that pure gym purposefully keeps the number of staff low to keep down costs, however, even when staffed they rarely offer support. Often when they do it’s to sell your their training programs.
