London Bermondsey gym reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gym, low cost This is my home gym, I like that it's spacious and has a lot of equipment so you're not limited to waiting for someone else to finish on a machine or using weights. The staff are really nice, especially Jamie and Aime.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I think the trainers are not a asset to the busine If I am working out on a machine incorrectly the trainers will just walk past and not correct my technique. I’m not asking for a personal training session but some guidance would be nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s a gym It’s big. It has equipment. People go there. I think it’s good

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for money , vast amount of equipment Spacious , easy to access , well equipped , clean .
Date published: 2020-03-11
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Value for money can get busy Nice place overall, all equipment you could need is there, good for strength training with heavy weights if needed and smaller weights/cardio equipment. major equipment like bench press, benches, racks, leg press are over used and difficult to get a turn on
Date published: 2020-03-11
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean, well-equipped, great location. There is an ongoing problem with people putting weights back in the incorrect locations, I appreciate that this is not your fault and there are signs up to deter people from doing so but it can be frustrating to find the weights I need are on the opposite side of the gym!
Date published: 2020-03-11
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good atmosphere, needs improvement on equipment I've often found that weights and bars are out of place and difficult to find. In my opinion those should be readily available, as otherwise they interrupt a workout, especially during peak hours. The classes rarely start on time and there's often clash at the studio door between a late outgoing class and a late incoming class. Some Burn It classes have horrible warm-up, where high-impact exercises are performed and changed every 20 seconds which could lead to injury.
Date published: 2020-03-11
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Classes are bad and never run on time The spin class is not well lead, the music did not at all match the movement, we couldn't hear any instructions because the instructor did not have a microphone or reduce the volume of the speaker, he gave no instructions and people generally had bad posture and no technique. There was no warm up and the class was just build around sprints. The 30 mins BurnIt classes are lead by different instructors each week and never start on time. Most of the instructors do not correct posture and people rush into performing the exercises with technique which will inevitably lead to injuries. Instructors who have prepared good classes were removed (i.e. BurnIt with Innocent on Monday evening) and exchanged for poorly organised and definitely not useful classes and incompetent instructors. Bootcamp classes and 45mins are not enough. Please let Innocent lead the BurnIt class. Jack's circuits are amazing, please can you add an evening session so people that work can also attend. No sprays to clean equipment and machines after use.
