London Borough gym reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissapointed since new year 2020 On this new year on studio classess: - less studio classes each day - poor warm up - no streching at all, that could cause physical problems on our muscles. A part from that, there are few lockers in female area at least... this issue begun last year

Rated 3 out of 5 by from all ok but the showers training zone and changing room are ok but showers are smelly and disgusting

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really nice gym and well laid out I always nervous starting the gym but the environment of the gym was really comfortable. Facilities are clean and machines are modern. Think there should be a few more treadmills as they were all in use at all times.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could do with an update Having been a regular member of the London Shoreditch gym, I was a bit dissapointed by the facilities at London Borough gym. You can clearly tell that this is an older gym, as lots of the facilities seem a bit out dated. Especially the changing and shower areas. The showers use actual curtains which look especially filthy and make you not want to make physical contact with them, the floor was a loose lino that had air bubbles underneath so moved as you walked around, and the actual showers had confusing controls. Compared to the Shoreditch gym, where they have frosted glass doors and a nice and clean environment, it wasn't a very nice experience. Also a couple of the treadmills seemed to be broken, and made very loud noises when you tried to run on them, like the base was broken. This is definitely a smaller gym than I have been used to at Shoreditch, so would be concerned to visit it during a busy period. I'm also a little bit shocked that this is a more expensive gym than the Shoreditch one too. Overall you can still get a good workout here, but feel like updating a few of the facilities is well overdue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A january workout The space is very good normally as it fills all my needs however on Monday's it is a nightmare getting a locker and very difficult getting onto a class!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I use the gym 2-4 times a week. Mainly for spinnin Spin classes never start on time and always finish early. 30 minute spin class is short as it is but you're lucky if it goes on for 25 minutes. I would like longer spinning classes. 45 minutes to one hour. Also more trainers so its not the same spin everyday

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very busy and No AC As with January a lot of people were using the gym but with this the Air Conditioning should have been on as the gym was extremely hot. Also it is disappointing that you do not enforce the use of towels as over 50% of people in there did not use one or clean the equipment after use!
