London Waterloo gym reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The showers really are disgusting I've been complaining about the showers, and the male changing rooms, for ages. Virtually nothing about it. They really are sub-standard. Even if the pipes are old, it should be possible to make them push out warm/hot water at a reasonable pressure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Could be more clean especially around changing roo I love this gym however it needs to be looked after a bit more. Toilets and changing rooms are filffy and dirty needs cleaning more frequently

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No COVID rules being observed No one was wearing masks in the gym. People were spotting each other on weights, staff could see it was happening and did nothing about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of changes made to make users feel safer After a long pause, since the onset of COVID-19, I returned to check out how safe I felt being in the gym and to see what changes had been made to help users feel safer. Apart from that I would have preferred more space between running machines in use, it is currently every other machine and that makes me feel a little uncomfortable, I was really impressed with all the measures taken including boxed areas to signal single person occupation, removal of much equipment, lots and lots of supplies to clean equipment and your hands with, clear signage to assist flow and the usual high standard of cleanliness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mask wearing confusion !! It’s difficult to understand when exactly you should be wearing a mask. Some people wear them just going in and in the changing rooms. Are we supposed to be wearing them each time we move from one piece of equipment to another? When we pick up dumbbells. Putting them on and taking them off, touching your face each time is a high risk for catching infections. It doesn’t make much sense. Could you clarify?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First time back after seven moths Because of my age (a fit 73) I have been shiellding & my membership has been frzoen since March. It took courage to come back and was only possible since you are opening again for 24 hours for 4 nights of the week. I have always been nocturnal, but now it is important, as I need the gym to be almost empty and I need to use my car. I felt very safe tonight - everything worked well apart from the first door in from the street. I had to punch in my code, which it wouldn't accept.and fortunately another member was able to let me in.. The second door I could scan with my phone, and that was fine. Really glad to be back. I have missed the Waterloo gym.
