More Than 50 Free Classes

If you enjoy the thrills and spills of working out in groups we are different class! Help yourself to more than 50 free classes every week which have all the variety you need to bring some spice into your exercise. Experience the tough demands of circuits and boot camp or for an equally intense work-out, try tabata which takes interval training to the next level! How to join

If 24/7 access, a low-cost contract-free membership, loads of quality kit and free classes sound up your street, then become a member online and kick-start your new healthy lifestyle. Joining PureGym is easy and can be done in a matter of minutes. Visit the Join Us page where you will enter your registration details. Once you’re a member, you will receive a PIN number to gain access to your chosen club. You can book a free exercise induction from a qualified instructor who will show you how to use the equipment. If you want to try us out first then book a day pass through our Join Us page and get a flavour of what’s on our menu - it’s pretty tasty

How to find us

We're situated between Charing Cross Station and St Georges Subway at 113 St Georges Road.

BY CAR

If you're using a SatNav to find us, our postcode is G3 6JA. If you can’t find a parking space in one of the nearby streets, try the massive 24-hour car park next to Charing Cross station (G2 4PR). There are over 400 spaces and you'll pay just £1.80 for an hour or £3.50 for two. In the unlikely event that's full, there are 25 pay and display places on Burnside Street.    

BY BUS

If you'd rather be driven to the gym, bus numbers 3, 10, 11A, 17, 40, 40A, 61, 119, C8, C10 and N40 will drop you off nearby on New City Road and we're just a five minute walk from Charing Cross station.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gym I signed up to Puregym and was initially just going and doing cardio on my own. Classes like Jordan’s circuits class on a Sunday where he would bring in equipment from the gym made me want to explore the gym more. The range of classes offered at puregym are good and I enjoy the introduction of functional classes. I’ve now started PT with Jordan and I think it was his teaching style and how he would encourage you in the class that made me want to do PT with him.

Staff at Charing cross are always very helpful and accommodating. Jordan Fleming in particular goes above and beyond to help out with training/happy to answer any questions anytime and demonstrate the use of equipment, proper technique etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Friendly gym I have been a member of Charing Cross gym for almost two years and would highly recommend it. All of the PTs are really friendly and approachable and the gym has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The range of equipment is really good, especially since the refurb of the functional area and studios. I especially recommend my PT Rachael Smith - I started training with her after attending her pump sessions and I really liked her training style. Rachael has given me a love of weights that I didn’t know I had and I always look forward to our sessions - she challenges me while keeping the workouts enjoyable! She really takes the time to get to know her clients and what works best for you. She even has me out running with her running club on a Saturday morning - definitely not something I ever thought I’d be doing!

I started coming to Charing Cross about 7 months ago and I can hands down say it’s the best pure gym there is, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming and will give you a hand whenever you need it. Even the members are so friendly too and it’s always a good atmosphere in the gym. There is so many classes to choose from and every single instructor is super passionate and you can absolutely tell. I wouldn’t go to any other gym now!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gym! I signed up to PureGym back in February and it’s been an extremely positive experience since! The trainers are friendly, there is lots of equipment, and the classes are extremely fun. However, I would say it would be great if there was more variety such a combat, bodytone, pilates and step. Also I hired Jordan as a PT over a month ago and in that short time I already feel more positive and have noticed changes in myself. It has been great for me both in and out of the gym as he has increased my confidence in the weights area and improved my nutritional knowledge thus helping me towards achieving my fitness/body goals.

PTs are unapproachable and intimidating- always in their staff room or on their phones and if they’re not doing any of that they’re shouting at each other from across the gym. Girl brunette PT that’s been there for a while walks around like everyone in their is against her- maybe should crack a smile everyone once in a while. My friends have all noticed the above.
