London Bayswater member reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorgym After 2 months of membership and going almost everyday off-peak these are my conclusions: Cleanliness of the equipment: it is only parts of the surface and not even looks clean, only one of the PT cleans from time to time, I understand he is not a cleaner, I do not blame him. Please, if you do not want spend money on cleaning, spend it in free towels like another puregyms. Cleanliness of the changing rooms: floor is clean, that's all. Lockers are not and rubbish inside or forgotten items in the showers can stay for days. Showers are not cleaned properly, they ore often disgusting. Quality of the kit is average, often is loose and we have had one machine broken for 1 full month. Staff is alright, I dont attend classes or do PT so no interest on each other. Hopefully someone cares about this feedback and there is not a generic reply below.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 1 out 5 I have joined this gym couples of days ago. Once I entered the Gym there was no reception there were no staff or anybody tell you where you go on your first day. I have managed to find the cleaner and he only directed me to the changing room. The trainer who do the excerises classes is very rude person it was my first day she asked me to lift 10kg weight. She never welcome you and when you ask her how you do this exercise she replies I have explained it million times and she told me "do I want attention " I felt so disappointed and I started to cry because the way she spoke to me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gym great for heavy lifters Gym is great in terms of machinery, and there’s a big weight area but complete lack of lower weight dumbbells which is very disappointing for someone who lacks confidence in heavier lifting. I come here on a tri-weekly basis as it’s the closest to my work but there is never any dumbbells! And there is a limited range of kettlebells too. Real shame!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Gym I went to Bayswater gym for about 6 months. The gym is big and has plenty of equipment, even at busy times. The cardio equipment itself was filthy, the cup holders haven't been cleaned in months. I rarely saw any staff members present at busy time periods after work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely rude administrator Tried to get into the gym on a Sunday to ask a couple of membership questions. First, spent about 10 minutes trying to get inside (there was another gentleman as well)pressing on all recommended buttons, but no one opened. Then a lady came from behind (i.e. she wasn't inside), saying she was the administrator and just arrived (12.15pm!) but she did not let us in and left standing in front of the door (although we asked to be let in to sit in designated area while she was dealing with things she had to deal with first). Then she showed up again and in extremely unwelcoming manner asked what we wanted and said she was giving us a tour of facility. Well, I did not need a tour of facility, but I only managed to convey it to the lady after a couple of quite arrogant comments coming from her one of which was "I don't think that you are listening". All that without even inviting us inside. Goodness! In the end we got inside, I asked the questions I needed to ask and left. She had no badge, so don't even know her name. Very, very rude and unprofessional.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Showers very hot The showers are very hot in the London Bayswater Gym. After running I am unable to shower due to the water being boiling hot. Pure gym London Bayswater should have the option of temperature control cold, medium, hot. Hope this review was helpful
