Good gym, worst WiFiPlease do something about the appalling WiFi in the Piccadilly gym!
Of course the WiFi wouldn’t be a problem except this gym is so far underground that there is no mobile signal, and being in a central London business area people have a need to stay in touch with the office but can’t, and forget trying to stream any music during your workout.
Also the gym is full of WiFi black-spots, and when you do get a signal it’s so slow! A speed test registered a snail like speed of 156kbs, last time I saw speeds that slow was in 1996.
Would it break the bank to install some WiFi emitters around the gym? You seem to have managed it with all the cameras everywhere.
There’s no reason for such a bad WiFi connection in this day and age especially when the area has fibre-optics.
Please fix this!

filthy showers and broken equipmentI have been saying the same thing for over a year - the female change rooms and showers are disgusting! I told the gym manager over 2 months ago that there was a broken soap dish in the showers and they were filthy - he said he would sort straight away - and nearly 2 months later - its still broken and the showers are still filthy

Not too good comparing to the other PuregymsIt is the worst gym comparing to all the Puregyms I have been to by now - I have a membership which allows me to go to any of them and I really use a lot of different locations.
It is very crowded considering the little space. You will not find a space for a proper crossfit workout and the equipment is based on the different levels. You have to be very careful not to get in the way of the other person. There is not enough amount of equipment, for example kettlebells.
And however I would very like to, I cannot say anything good about the staff that works there. The atmosphere is rather neutral, couldn't find any acts of interest from the coaches, even during the classes. Cycling classes is really really bad. I wanted to give this gym a chance, thought that maybe coach had a bad day or something. Not at all, been there for cycling three times and will never go again. Same with kettlebell classes. Sorry but the coaches have no energy, no motivation, the girl looked like she will fell off the bike and fall asleep. I have a comparison to the other gyms and I know how it should look like. If the coaches lack in motivation and do not have basic knowledge they should not do the classes. It was simply super boring experience each time.
I enjoyed the cycling classes in all the Puregyms apart from the Piccadilly one.
Last but not least the cleanliness in the showers - very poor and the smell is bad. This is the gym where the lot of people go and they should put more effort on keeping changing rooms clean. Not mentioning the fact that almost none of the hair dryer works.
As far as I can recommend many Puregyms this one is the worst and not worth wasting time and money. With so many other gyms around I would never recommend going there.

Lovely space with areas for allI really like this gym. I have been to various sites of the PureGym family and this does have the best so far on amount of equipment. It was lovely to see there is more than 1 weight lifting rack and there are various little areas to find a space to do your thing with free weights.
My only comment would be that sometimes weight/equipment aren't put back for others to use and there are a small amount of people who stand by machine and use them sporadically for long periods of time. However, this is more certain people not understanding or caring about gym etiquette or others in the gym rather than the gym itself.
Overall the gym is definitely worth a visit and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Solid Central GymGood price for location.
Solid range of kit.
Obviously, having to deal with concentration of space, so the layout is a little labyrinthine and could do with more open spaces, but you work with what you've got.
