Classes range

PureGym Tonbridge has a range of exciting classes based in our studio, from classes designed to help you tone up, improve your aerobic capacity, and increase strength.

Plus, we have a new suite of Functional classes to enjoy, which make use of battle ropes, assault bikes, kettlebells, punch bags and more. In just a few weeks you'll feel more fit, more toned and stronger.

Functional

These classes have been designed to showcase some of the awesome fun you can have within the functional areas of PureGym. 

Two of the key principles behind these classes is fun and safety. We want to maximise your fun and your endorphins using different and engaging exercise that (hopefully) is more fun than just going on the treadmill! 

Strength class

Strength

Strength is a great class for those wanting to build strength and strength endurance. The class is held within the Functional area of the gym.

Sweat class

Sweat

Sweat is a 30-minute class designed to get you moving and sweating from minute 1 to minute 30. With less rest and lighter weights, we can keep you moving with full body blasting moves!

When it comes to group sessions we are a different class! 

Whether you want to lose weight, tone up, gain muscle or improve strength and endurance levels, we have a wide variety of sessions to achieve your goals in a friendly environment and with instructors to give your motivation a helping hand.

Absolute abs class

Absolute Abs

Who wants a six-pack? Well whether you do or just want to trim your waistline, you’ll have to focus on your entire core – from head to hips. This workout will help you do just that (with a good diet of course!) using an array of effective moves and exercises.

Bells of steel class

Bells of steel

Kettlebells can easily get you moving in every way that is good for your body. This session takes you through the basic swings and lifts, right up to some of the best functional training movements.

Burn it up class

Burn it up class

Spending as much time as possible in your optimum training zone for burning calories and fat, this session focusses on varying styles on interval training including Tabata. Expect to see side effects such as increased fitness and generally feeling awesome!

Legs. Bums and Tums

Legs, Bums & Tums

Legs, bums and tums – does exactly what it says. A class aimed at those areas we love to hate, helping to tone and work your core and lower body. The class can be completed by beginners through to experts as our instructors will push you according to your ability.

Park and Ride class

Park and Ride

Our cycle class is an indoor experience where you’ll spin your way through a mixture of terrains - tackling hills, time trials, sprints and flats. You’ll ride to motivating music whilst improving your cardio fitness, burning calories and strengthening your legs and core.

Yoga class

Yoga

Experience mind and body connection through a series of physical postures, breathing exercises and relaxation. Yoga can help reduce stress levels and improve overall health.

Pilates

Pilates

A system of physical conditioning involving low-impact exercises and stretches designed to strengthen muscles of the torso and often performed using specialised equipment.

Stretch class

Stretch

This is a total body stretch class spent going through a combination of stretches which will leave you feeling relaxed and renewed from head to toe. This class is designed to improve full body flexibility and is suitable for all levels of fitness, great for relaxing, stretching and lengthening tight muscles that can often lead to injury.

Pump It class

Pump It

Pump It is a total body workout using barbells, weights and steps. Each part of the class is designed to target a different muscle group so you'll get a great overall body workout to some great music! You will leave the class feeling challenged and motivated.

Work it to the tone

Work It To The Tone

Using studio equipment, this class covers all aspects of how to shape and tone your body. Using some lighter resistance techniques and mixed intensity cardio training, you’ll feel the benefit of the burn in no time!

Zumba class

Zumba

A fusion of Latin and international rhythms and easy to follow moves. Ditch the workout and join the party!
