Edinburgh Exchange Crescent gym reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent gym, everything you need Staff take every precaution to keep members feeling safe. Always a pleasure and a great place to work out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The gym is so well organised The gym set up is so much better than pre covid, makes it much easier to see what is free and where there is room to workout. The bigger cleaning stations are much better and everyone seems to be very good at cleaning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cleanliness I feel safe at the gym in terms of coronavirus, the on reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because I wish there was hand sanitizer on these new sanitising bays, as the sprays and the push button for the blue roll has only become a new touch point. I feel this at least could be encouraged. I’m surprised that new exercise mats haven’t come in that are wipeable as these literally absorb every drop of sweat and throw it back out on to the next person who use it, and it is impossible to clean them to a reasonable standard with blue roll. I find that younger people who come in don’t clean the things they use after them, especially the exercise mats and dumbbells.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First visit, really impressed! First time using the gym, very well laid out and more than enough equipment for everyone! The covid safety was good, although the instruction on where a face covering must be used wasn't initially obvious

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Nice & organised, tidy and clean! First time at This pure gym in Edinburgh today. I wouldve liked a larger space for stretching & free weights! Currently only fits Two people. But i guess thats just cause its a smaller gym! Overall, great changing rooms, super Nice & clean. Members were so respectfull of one another.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It is what it is for £25pm No Olympic weights or deadlift platform. Cable machine is missing some attachments. Quite crowded. 70% cardio machines but they're hardly used in comparison to the weights zone.
Date published: 2020-11-17
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just ok They removed a lot of the cleaning stations! I don't understand, they had them and have the space but removed them.
Date published: 2020-11-13
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs longer opening hours to keep numbers down Feels crowded and difficult to know what machines you can and can't use. Some have do not use signs others are very close but are okay to use I assume. Maybe email all users with clear guidelines and increase hours so is 24 hour gym to reduce numbers.
